2 Days Before Departure

I can’t believe where time has gone! It’s already Tuesday and tomorrow is Wednesday, and my flight leaves Friday! Less than 3 days before I get on that plane and fly to a land far far away. I haven’t even started packing! I tell myself…you’ll start packing…now. But that didn’t seem to happen. My apt. is still like it was before I went home this past weekend to say farewell to my friends and family. I’m living in the great NYC this summer while interning at Prudential and it’s definitely been a blast and an experience. I end my internship 5pm on Friday. I’ll get back to my apt. 6pm-ish and I need to be at the airport at 10pm, but my flight won’t leave until 1:30am Saturday. It’s a 15 hour straight flight! Ahhh! Not only do I hate flying, but I hate being cramped up in a small space. I hope I get the aisle seat. I’m packing one huge suitcase, that way I can buy lots of stuff over there to bring back. My departure is getting stressful. I feel kind of unprepared, but I’m sure everything will work out. I thought I’d write my first blog today to test it out, so leave comments! I’ll miss you all and I hope we can still keep in touch! Send me your address if you’d like a postcard:) I’ll try to send them out. And I hope you read my blog throughout this semester. I hope to inspire you with my travels and experience so perhaps some semester while you’re attending college, you will take advantage of the study abroad program! And I’d love to help in any way possible! I guess that’s it for now. Maybe I’ll finally start packing…
